Abke Haring is a much acclaimed actor in The Netherlands and Belgium, who won the prestigious Theo d’Or award for her portrayal of Hamlet in Hamlet vs Hamlet in 2014. She starred in many plays for diverse theatercompanies like International Theater Amsterdam, Toneelhuis, NTGent and Frascati. She worked with Ivo van Hove, Guy Cassiers, Luk Perceval, Floor Houwink ten Cate and many more inspiring directors on stage. Abke also writes for theater and is known for her physical performances.
She starred in series and films such as Fenix (2017), Primus (2022) Piece of my Heart (2022) and Splendid Isolation (2022) which premiered at the International Film Festival Rotterdam in 2022.
Up next Abke will be on stage with De Warme Winkel, with Brideshead Revisited, at the Holland Festival. She wil reprise her role in Sea of Silence and will star next to Jacob Derwig in |Panic Room, both directed by Floor Houwink ten Cate for Theater Utrecht.
