Even before her graduation from the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Amsterdam in 2019, Emma could already be seen acting in various plays by theater companies Het Nationale Theater and International Theater Amsterdam.
When she was younger, Emma portrayed one of the leading characters in the youth-television series Het Geheim van Eyck. After that she played parts in Flikken Rotterdam, Zomer in Zeeland and in the much acclaimed television series Oogappels, which was renewed for a third season in 2021. She also has an appearance in the second season of Golden Globe winning television series Killing Eve and filmed the shorts Dirty Talks and Split-Up.
Emma is part of the collective Orkaters Nieuwkomers, formerly known as Johnny come lately, where she writes, produces, and performs her own work.
In 2024 Emma wil star as the lead in a new feature film called Tegendraads and will see the release of Vleesdag, in which she also plays the lead on Amazon.
